We're so excited about our first home meet on Tuesday! Here is all the info that you need. Also a reminder that there is NO PRACTICE on Monday. Enjoy your Memorial day weekend!

Volunteers: We have almost all our jobs covered for Tuesday night, pending the sick scratches that always come with kids! Because some of our smallest swimmers are not quite ready for meets, we do have some extra jobs that need to be covered for those parents. We need one grill station server, a 1st half scoring table, and a 2nd half runner. You can sign up for that here. The jobs are also posted there if you need to see who you are shepherding with or need to double check your job. The other thing we just opened up is the PARENT RELAY!!!! Sign up is in the same place. We may just be swimming against ourselves this week, but let's show those Rivershyre parents what they are missing out on!

Weather: We will continue to monitor the weather as always. Right now, Tuesday looks not great, but no other days look good either. In general, please hold Thursdays open for make up meets. If we need to move, I will send out a quick survey of who can attend so that we can make changes quickly. Our weather policy is linked here. I will make every effort to both keep you safe and get these meets run on the day scheduled. But the weather is completely out of my control!

Parking: We will have lots of cars to park on our field on Tuesday. Please try to park as close to each other as you can. We will have two parents helping with parking in the field. Please make sure you follow their instructions. If you are coming later and parking on the street, please be kind to neighbors and only park on the pool side of the street. Winding Wood gets VERY narrow with cars parked on both sides. I'm attaching a picture below.

Concessions: We will have grilled chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dog meals outside under the pavilion and all the candy, drinks and frozen things your kids could want inside. We take cash and cards at both locations.

Schedule:

4:00- Coaches and Jr Coaches arrive for Set-up.

4:30- Montclair Swimmers arrive. Parking attendants arrive.

5:00- Montclair warm ups start. Visiting team arrives. Grill and concessions workers please arrive.

515- Coaches Meeting

5:25- Visiting team warms up.

5:30- Officials meeting at Starting end of the pool.

5:45- Timers meetings at Starting end of the pool. Scoring Table, Event Numbers, Runner and Candy people meet at the shed.

5:55- National Anthem and Invocation

6:00 Meet starts! Swim fast and cheer hard!!!

Heat Sheets- Heat sheets will be posted here . Events will be showing up in your app as the Coaches put them in. Please be sure to mark your swimmers with their events prior to arriving. If you need to know how to do that, ask Tuesday or check out Swim 101.

We will update the app during the meet so that you can see when your swimmers are coming up. The paid version of the app gives a couple more features and you would only need to pay for this one month if you are interested. Praying that all our technology will work this week unlike at Time Trials. A bad rehearsal means a good show, right?
